Lighting elements and acrylic shelving place book collection at center stage
College of Idaho Cruzen-Murray Library is a state-of-the-art, architecturally beautiful facility. Massive exterior windows are shaded by a series of perforated metal fins arranged to accept natural light into the interior space. Spacesaver Intermountain’s innovative translucent acrylic shelving allows for full light penetration and creates a canvas for the vibrant book collection to take center stage. The three-story, 60,000 square-foot facility includes traditional holdings of books and journals, as well as private and group study areas, a 24/7 study space, multimedia classrooms, a café, and public spaces for readings, lectures and exhibitions.
